(March 13, 2009) The objective of the Fé Program is to deliver comprehensive life skills and entrepreneurial training to potential Latino entrepreneurs aiming at increasing their rate of educational, economical and social success. Candidates for the program are students from grades 9th through 11th from public and charter schools in the Lehigh Valley. The program consists of 2 weeks of Life Skills / Office Skills training at DeSales University, Center Valley, PA from June 15 to June 26, 2009, followed by 4 weeks of paid internship / mentorship at local Lehigh Valley businesses from June 29th to July 24th, 2009. Application forms for the program are available at the office of the guidance counselor of the participating schools. Students interested in the program are asked to complete the application and submit it through their school’s guidance counselor to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley, P.O. Box 22852, Lehigh Valley, PA 18002. Selection will be made on a first come-first served basis. Applications must be received by May 19, 2009.
