Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley offers its members Aetna Health Insurance through its broker of record Equinox Agency.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley (HCCLV) informs the public that it is receiving applications for medical plans offered through the health insurance company Aetna. Alvaro A. Diaz, Executive Director of The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley indicates that these plans are available to all of the Hispanic Chamber members at a lower cost than those offered by other national health insurance carriers operating in the Lehigh Valley and that an additional discount is also available to HCCLV members. This is just one of the ways that the Hispanic Chamber is helping reduce the operating costs of its affiliated businesses. Aetna is the lead sponsor of the program “Futuros Empresarios”, loosely translated “Future Entrepreneurs”, a program that helps Latino owned businesses achieve minority business certification and Latino students obtain summer internships. This program is being coordinated through the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of The Lehigh Valley. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley selects George Robles, Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO of FLSmidth Minerals as Latino Businessman of the Year
Lehigh Valley, PA (September 26, 2008) - The Board of Governors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley (HCCLV) has selected Mr. George Robles as Latino Businessman of Year and will present him with an award in ceremony that will take place at the HCCLV Annual Gala on October 11, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Downtown Allentown. Mr. Robles is currently Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO of FLSmidth Minerals, a global engineering and equipment manufacturer serving the metals mining and refining process industries. A subsidiary of the FLSmidth Group of Denmark, FlSmidth Minerals has about 200 employees, mostly engineers, at its headquarters on Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem, PA.
During Mr. Robles’ tenure at the helm of FLSmidth Minerals the company has experienced unparalleled expansion through organic growth and acquisitions, becoming an organization offering complete solutions to their industrial segment.
