FE Program

The objective of the Futuros Empresarios (Fé) Program is to deliver “life skills” and entrepreneurial training to Latino high school students aiming at increasing their rate of educational, economical and social success.

Participating students are selected from public schools in the Lehigh Valley, including charter schools. In the summer of 2012, thirty-four high school students received two-weeks of “life skills” / office skills training at DeSales University, Center Valley, PA followed by four-weeks of paid internship/ mentorship at local Lehigh Valley businesses.

May 20 to May 24 – Application Review and Selection

May 28 to May 31 – Notification to Selected Students 

June 3 to June 7 – Personal Interviews with Selected Students   

June 11 – Mandatory  Orientation for  Accepted Students and  their Parents

June 16 to June 21 – Academic Program at DeSales

June 24 to July  19 – Internship Program

June 28 – Field Trip

July 12 – Field Trip

July 21 – Graduation Ceremony at DeSales University
